This is down to the company not employing the correct people.
An experienced planner would include commissioning in the programme from the initial programme so then everyone should be aware of the requirements.
An experienced Commissioning Manager should be employed to oversee completion ensuring that it is completed and signed off correctly and in the correct order to make the transition into commissioning as smooth as possible.
If sections can be commissioned even out of sequence do it and get in front of the programme because no doubt some sections will cause you problems.
Snagging should be completed as soon as the issue is raised so you don’t end up with long lists that stop commissioning commencing.

Very Good.
There is a small difference in a few places how we do the Commissioning, but all in all we have the same approach.
Note:
Important to have at least 1 maybe 2 or 3 Comm persons in the project from start of the contract.
We also have operations personnel included in the comm team from site period.

Building Construction of an industrial site has to take into account fire and water leaks, and also the safety of the DCS system, escape routes, airtightness, ventsystem close off in case of gasalarm, well designed Muster location on the inside.
influences from the outside – how explosion resistant should the windows be and what about chemical resistance of the buildings?
All this and I suppose more has to be studied well in advance of the construction and. Depends on the location of the building.
